Right off the bat I know that I am very thankful to be a senior in college. I know it sounds silly, but I feel like this is something that when I was in high school I would think would take forever. I also am very thankful that I have been able to have the time and resources to be able to go through four years of college successfully. I am very thankful that I have had family to support me in the hardships that come with school and friends to keep me level-headed.

Another thing I am becoming more aware that I am thankful for is the safety I have. Recent event in New Jersey remind me that I am very  lucky to have a roof over my head and fresh water to drink. As streotypical as it sounds, I cannot be more thankful for the fact I know all my family and friends are safe and that I have an intact home to return to.

I am extremely thankful to have a job that brings me an income. I cannot tell you how long I waited for the “market” to come back in Statesboro for me to be able to have a job that pays the bills and that I really enjoy. I am thankful for the opportunities that I have had and the prospects that I know I have in the future. I am thankful that I can still be optimistic for things to come.

Most of all, I am thankful for my amazing boyfriend who has kept me sane through the past three years. I know that he was put in my life for a reason and I cannot say how thankful I am to have someone to keep me grounded while building me up. I am thankful to have a best friend who loves me so unconditionally. I am thankful that he has shown me what it means to have a strong faith and I thank God everyday for bringing us together.

Thank you for reading! Hope you have a great Thanksgiving and remember to thank those who have helped you get this far 🙂
